Basic Roller- Community Class

This is the actual recording of one of our 30 minute community classes.

The community class began in April in response to the Covid-19 crisis, as a way of providing the local community with a free, safe exercise session.

This class is suitable for all ages and abilities as it covers some basic core exercises using a roller.

This is the actual recording of one of our 30 minute community classes.

This class is suitable for all ages and abilities as it covers some basic core exercises using a roller.

Advanced Group Classes- roller week

This is an actual advanced class recording of roller week. Most exercises incorporate a 90cm foam roller. This adds to the complexity of the exercise as the rollers inherent instability helps to get your core muscles working hard to stabilise you. Approximately 50 minutes in duration

Advanced Group Class- actual class recording

Advanced group class- this class has a band focus. Bands add resistance to the arm actions added to basic squats, forward lean and lunges. Crab walk with a band and use a band for a sit up and bridge.

Advanced Group Classes- shoulder focus

This is an actual recording of our online advanced class. This class had a shoulder focus.

It uses bands, roller, weights and a large swiss ball.

Roll and Release on line video

This is a 30 minute video of simple roller releases and stretches. It includes windmill stretch, hip flexor stretch, thoracic mobilisations as well as pec and quads releases. suitable for beginner through to advanced exercisers.

Physio on a Roll-Beginner Lesson

This is a beginner foam roller workout suitable for all ages and abilities.

It introduces the exerciser to some basic roller exercises such as a wall squat and wall push up and several simple abdominal exercises.

It can also be performed without a roller.

Intermediate lesson

This is an intermediate exercise class of around 30 minutes duration. It will provide a total body workout with exercises that include squats, bridging, push ups on a wall and hand weights used in supine on a roller.


Intermediate Group Classes

Tuesday 31/3/20 Intermediate class.

This is the actual class recording for those that missed it.

It has a neck focus, runs for about 50 minutes.

You will need a long foam roller, weights, band, small ball. If you don't have this equipment there are other options available.

advanced roller routine

Use your roller with exercises such as lunges, jumps, side-planks, sit ups and leg extensions to push your fitness. This workout repeats 3 exercises 3 times over in standing and then on the floor.

Introductory video

This is a free, sample exercise video. Duration 15 mins.

It demonstrates an intermediate level floor exercise class that is equipment free. Perfect for those stranded by COVID-19.

It includes dead bugs, push ups, bridges, side planks and bird dog exercises. These are all graded, with easier and harder options demonstrated.
